Office Duties
Listed here are the total club offices for the fencing club and the duties that come along with the office. If you are interested in running for office, hopefully, this list will help you decided which office you will run for.

Descriptions
President
The president is responsible for all external affairs, such as communicatingwith other schools, leading the club, and leading club practice (may involve coaching). The president must show up to club meetings regularly unless something urgent comes up, in which case, the president must inform the VP and the coach of the absence in advance.
Vice President
The vice president deals with the sports club office, scheduling the location and time of club meetings, tabling to recruit new fencers, and other internal affairs of the club. The vice president must also show up to club meetings regularly, and notify the president and coach of pending absences.
Treasurer
The treasurer handles everything that has to do with money such as checks,records and receipts, and audits (which occur during January and June; the president will also be around for the second one). The treasurer will also manage the fencing club's external account, check requests for the internal account, and equipment money matters.
Armourer
The armourer is responsible for the following:
fixing all three types of weapons in the club cabinets
organizing club lockers
arranging for club clothing items (such as jackets, knickers, etc.) to be washed at least once per quarter
determining which equipment is old or unsafe and arranging for itsreplacement
labeling new equipment
performing the yearly inventory (usually with the audits)
Travel Secretary
Whenever there is an away event, the travel organizer plans where we will stay, how we will get to the location of the event, and tries to get hotel discounts and such for the club.
Minister of Fun (aka Social Event Organizer)
The Minister is in charge of contacting places for events, including post-tourney events, and planning social events and the commitees that will put the events together.
Webmaster
The Webmaster manages the webpage and the list-proc, and needs to know HTML, info about meeting times and places, tourney results, and member info, so that this info can be posted onto the webpage frequently.
The Fund Rai$er
The Fund Rai$er help$ the club by $etting up fundrai$er$ in order to rai$e fund$. Keep in mind, though, that "IN SOVIET RUSSIA, THE FUND$ RAI$E YOU!"
