Paul Mach
Paul did his first charity ride at age 3 in Seattle, Washington but soon after gave up the sport due to time conflicts with Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers.In high school he started running which lead to a track and cross country career at Seattle Pacific University. His best events were the 400 hurdles and 800, he holds conference records in both. In 2005 he was All American in the 800 by finishing 4th at nationals with a best time of 1:49.31.
Upon his arrival to Davis in late 2005 he picked up cycling again in an attempt to get back to his roots. He had some success and is looking forward to being part of UC Davis' dominance of collegiate cycling in the coming year.
