Amanda Seigle
Amanda Seigle began racing mountain bikes in the Fall of 2003 and then raced as a women's B on the road from Winter 2003 to spring 2005, winning the Stanford women's B crit in 2005. After moving up to women's A's for the 2006 season, Amanda competed at the National Collegiate Cycling Championships and took 9th place in the road race, 13th in the crit, and 9th overall omnium. This season Amanda also competed at Track Nationals in Indianapolis. She hopes to upgrade to Category 2 as a USCF racer.
Amanda is beginning her 3rd year of a Master's Degree in Geology. She holds a B.S. from UC Davis in mathematics with minor in geology. She stayed to keep racing her bike and is now dragging out her graduate career to race one last season.
